Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South leaders Taunton Town have brought in goalkeeper Chandler Hallett and James Dodd on loan.

Hallett is a former Yeovil Town under-16 `keeper who signed a scholarship agreement with League Two rivals Colchester United in May 2017.

He has been a regular with the U`s under-18 side since and joins the Peacocks on `work experience`.

Midfielder Dodd, who joins on a month`s loan, is still part of the under-18 set up at League Two Exeter City but made his first-team debut against West Ham United under-21s this season in the Checkatrade.com Trophy.

An Exeter-based youngster, who has been with the academy since under-9s, is a very creative player and has already signed a professional contract with the club.

They are expected to be in the squad for tomorrow`s top of the table clash against Weymouth at the Viridor Stadium when another bumper crowd is expected.
