East Thurrock United bolstered their National League South survival hopes by recording a 2-1 win over Chippenham Town, the Thurrock Gazette say.
A Sam Higgins brace put Rocks in control before Karnell Chambers hit back for the visitors late on at Rookery Hill.
However, East Thurrock held on and boss John Coventry felt his side deserved all three points.
“I’m pleased for the players because they really deserved it,” said Coventry.
“We put a gameplan together in training and it was good to see it all come together.
“The trouble with us at the moment is that we just can’t predict how we are going to play or what we are going to get.
“That’s the story of our season.”
