AFC Hornchurch have completed the signing of prolific striker Bradley Warner for the 2017/2018 season.
Brad scored 30 league goals for Bowers & Pitsea, including 3 against us, with 2 brilliant free kicks in our last home game of the season.
Brad had interest from several Conference sides, but has chosen to join us as we look to launch a real challenge for promotion this season.
Brad said “I spoke to Alex and Jimmy and got a good feel about the club straight away. I’ve always enjoyed playing against Hornchurch and I’m looking forward to getting goals for the fans and helping the club this season”
Chairman Alex Sharp commented “We are very pleased with our transfer business this closed season, with Theo Fairweather-Johnson and Sean Roberts signing and we are absolutely delighted to now be able to add someone of Bradley’s quality to the team, we will certainly have a very attacking line up and are hopeful this will deliver a lot of goals! These new signings, along with the equally important re-signing of our key players from last season, signal our intent to challenge for promotion this term, which coupled with the re-structuring of the league, gives us a very good chance, but the one thing we can guarantee next season is exciting, attacking football.
Jim is working very hard to strengthen the squad further ahead of our pre-season and we hope to be able to announce 1 or 2 more signings in the near future”
