FA Vase favourites South Shields have been handed a home tie against Newport Pagnell Town in the Buildbase FA Vase quarter-finals.
Graham Fenton and Lee Picton’s side are heavy favourites to win the Vase and they will face a Swans side that knocked the Mariners’ EBAC Northern League rivals Sunderland RCA out of the competition on Saturday.
Former Vase winners Southall face a tough Cleethorpes Town side who saw off Atherton Collieries in a thrilling 3-2 win at the weekend.
The biggest crowd of the last round was at Bromsgrove Sporting as almost 1,500 saw them emerge victorious against Bristol Manor Farm
Their reward is another home tie against Buckland Athletic, winners of a seven goal thriller against Hinckley AFC.
The final tie is an all-Midland League tie as Coleshill Town host Sporting Khalsa.
The quarter-final winners will be awarded £3,375 from the FA’s prize fund, while losing clubs will pocket £1,125.
The quarter final ties are scheduled to be played on Saturday, February 18.
