Bromley have confirmed that defender Ben Chorley has departed Hayes Lane.
The experienced centre-back, 35, spent three seasons at the club, joining from Portsmouth in the Ravens’ inaugural National League campaign back in 2015, playing his part in a respectable 14th place finish.
In the following two seasons, Chorley played a huge part in helping the team to settle into life in the National League, improving year on year. Last season, Chorley was not only a player-coach, but also a member of the club’s academy coaching staff, where he oversaw the 2nd year scholars, who enjoyed a successful FA Youth Cup run.
The former Leyton Orient, Gillingham and MK Dons man was keen to thank the club and its supporters for making his time such an enjoyable one.
