Gloucester City vice-chairman Chris Gage has left the club with immediate effect.
Gage took on the mantle in January 2018 and also performed multiple roles in his time with the club.
Speaking about his resignation, he said: “It’s with great sadness that I announce this today. I’ve loved serving Gloucester City as Vice Chairman and in all of the other duties I’ve performed.
“Running a club at this level, takes an unbelievable amount of time and dedication, and when you feel you can no longer make a positive impact, something has to give, therefore I will be stepping down from all of my duties with immediate effect. I’d like to thank Rod, Eamonn and all at Gloucester City for the opportunity to work for what is a truly incredible club.
“I’ve met some wonderful people and have made friends who I will forever cherish. I’d like to also thank all the supporters who, with unending passion, follow City the length and breadth of the country and have welcomed me as one of your own.”
Confirmation of a newly-appointed vice-chairman will be officially announced at the next home game versus Billericay on 13th April.
