Gloucestershire Live report that Leeds United and Aston Villa are thought to have joined the race to sign Kidderminster Harriers’ former Cheltenham Town and Gloucester City midfielder Ed Williams.
He has been in fine form for the National League North club, who he joined on a one-year deal after leaving Gloucester City in the summer.
Cheltenham-born Williams has scored six goals in seven games and National League side Salford City are thought to have made an approach for his signature.
Scouts from Leeds and Aston Villa have watched the former Prestbury St Mary’s school pupil in action for Kidderminster during Saturday’s FA Cup second qualifying round win over Atherstone Town.
