Vincent Kompany is involved in a bid to take over Stockport County, report The Manchester Evening News.
The Manchester City skipper is associated with a Belgian entrepreneur who is behind one of two current bids which are seeking to revive the fortunes of the National League North club. But he has been putting out feelers in various businesses – including a consortium headed by Belgian businessman and former classical pianist Klaas Gaublomme, which wants to take over County.
Kompany graduated from Manchester Business School with a master’s degree in business administration last year.
