Metropolitan Police defender Jeremy Arthur is on trial with Walsall.

The 19-year-old joined the Isthmian Premier side after being released from Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season, where he had captained the under-23 side.
Since joining Metropolitan Police FC at the start of this season, Arthur has established himself as their first choice centre-back. His standout performances – including the three goals he has contributed – have caught the eye of several EFL clubs, who are now tracking his progress.
League One outfit Walsall are the first to make their move, offering Arthur a trial with the club. Both clubs agreed to let the 6’1″ defender spend this week with the West Midlands side.
Arthur has already featured for the Saddlers’ development squad, keeping a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Bradford City earlier this week.
