Walthamstow have signed forward Kieran Bishop.

Bishop comes with a wealth of experience and has most recently played for Grays Athletic, where he scored 47 goals in 94 games across three seasons. He was also voted their Supporters’ Player of the Year last season.

He began this season at Coggeshall Town, so will be familiar with James Bransgrove and Correy Davidson, already in the Stow squad, as well as having played with a number of other players before.

Speaking about the signing, Stow manager Ryan Maxwell said: “I’d like to welcome my friend and former teammate Kieran Bishop to Walthamstow FC.

“There’s such a thing as friends in football, and Kieran is one of those. He’s a good player and a good person!”

Bishop has scored goals everywhere he’s been, but really came to form during the 2015-16 season when he scored 31 goals in 45 games for Ware. He has also featured for Harlow Town and Hemel Hempsted Town.

He is expected to go straight into the squad to face Clapton on Saturday.
