Walton Casuals have announced the signing of Tommy Brewer from Kingstonian.
Brewer has been on the radar of Anthony Gale for a while now and the gaffer is delighted to have finally got his man.
“I’m delighted to welcome Tommy. I’ve been an admirer of Tommy’s game for quite some time now, but after a conversation in the summer, he thought the best decision was to stay at Kingstonian at that time. We stayed in touch and it was a no brainier to bring someone in of his quality when it looked like a deal could be done. Tommy’s a local boy, has lots of experience and will be great for the changing room, that’s without talking about his footballing ability.”
Brewer is the latest in a number of additions to the squad recently, with Jay Gasson having arrived this past week and Malonis Gogonas, Mahrez Bettache and Tom Tolfrey all having made their debuts in the past couple of weeks.
On the outgoing side of things, Nathan Wood has gone to Molesey on loan and Martin Iliev has joined Camberley, also on loan.
