Blackpool have signed midfielder Ben Garrity from Warrington Town.
Garrity, 22, was spotted playing Sunday League football for The Oyster in Liverpool, and was given a chance by Yellows boss Paul Carden.
The central midfielder immediately impressed, and quickly became a key player in the side, missing just one league game since joining the club.
In total, he has made 79 appearances, scoring 19 goals, including 11 this season which places him as the club’s top scorer.
After turning down offers to become a full-time professional in the summer, Garrity has now put pen to paper with Blackpool to turn full-time and get a chance to prove himself in the Football League.
