Warrington Town have signed striker Chris Holroyd.
Joining Paul Carden’s side from Stalybridge Celtic, Holroyd links up again with his former teammates in manager Carden and assistant Mark Beesley. The three played together at Cambridge United.
Holroyd, 33, has represented the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Preston North End, Macclesfield Town and Wrexham in his career.
Carden told the Yellows’ website: “He’ll give us a different dimension that we haven’t got as a forward.
“Jordan (Buckley)’s had a couple of niggly injuries which are persistent, so we’ve given him a programme to work to that will allow him to play more games for us.”
