Manager Matt Longhurst was delighted with another East Grinstead Town comeback after they came from behind on Tuesday to sink Three Bridges 4-2.

Marcus Elliott’s hat-trick, which took his tally for the season to 15, and Tashi Kwaye got the goals as Grinstead came from 2-0 down for the second successive game.

Matt said: “We could have won by more in the end. Once we’d got the first goal back I was confident we were going to win.
“It was a good performance offensively again but we can’t afford to keep giving teams two-goal starts. If we do that against Greenwich or Hastings in the next two games we won’t come back and win.

“But overall I am delighted. The pitch was like a ploughed field but we still played some good attacking football and our pace stretched Bridges.”
