Wycombe Wanderers captain Matthew Bloomfield says he knows how Leatherhead and Billericay Town players will be feeling after being drawn with the League Two side in the second round of the FA Cup.
The Tanners will travel to Adams Park in the second round of the competition, if they can overcome their first round opponents from Essex in a replay next week.
And Bloomfield knows from previous experience the incentive that both sides have to win the replay and what a banana skin it could be for Wycombe.
“We have got to be pleased with a home draw, but it will be a tough game,” he told the BBC after the second round draw was made last night (Monday).
“Billericay are signing some big names and making great waves in the Isthmian League and also Leatherhead, a good friend of mine, Sammy Moore is in charge down there.
“It won’t be an easy game and we are pleased to be at home. It is what the FA Cup is all about, and it is a great game for them.
“We had the other side of the coin last year against Spurs and that was our big day out, so we know exactly what Billericay and Leatherhead players will feel.”
