Wealdstone have appealed for any information over a number of recent acts of vandalism at their Grosvenor Vale stadium.

The recently-promoted National League club have said as part of a statement:

“In the most recent mindless acts, we have been notified that a scarf planted in the stands in remembrance to a supporter that passed away has been stolen.

“This has been the third act of vandalism in our stadium recently; our dedicated team of volunteers work incredibly hard in maintaining our stadium and we are growing increasingly frustrated by these mindless idiots ruining their hard work.

“Enquiries to identify those responsible are ongoing and we encourage anybody with information to contact the club or call 101.”
