Welling United say chairman Mark Goldberg has handed over the day-to-day running of the club.
Goldberg will, though, be remaining as chairman and owner of the National League South outfit.
An update from the club explains: “Mark Goldberg has handed over the day-to-day running of the club, including the matchday responsibility to Garry Fiore, Paul Whitehead and Matt Mein, who will be ably supported by Robert Littlefield overseeing club finances. All of the team hold senior posts and run businesses, and should bring an additional wealth of experience to help the club create additional commercial revenue.
“Mark will be remaining as owner and chairman but will now be focused on securing the new ground development at Park View Road, with a view to providing a sustainable future for the club. Alan Heath will be responsible as club secretary.”
