Welling United’s Director of Football, Tristan Lewis, will not be continuing in this role next season and has left the club.
The club said this in a statement:
‘We wish to place on record our thanks to Tristan for all his hard work over the past 2 years. He formed a thriving Academy structure and achieved great success with our Youth Team during its first season, before now passing over the Academy operation to Garry Fiore and Brett Smith. Aside from this, he worked with Harry Wheeler as a joint caretaker manager and then finished off the season with Alex Dyer to ensure we kept our National League South status in 2016/17.
He then went on this season to make a significant contribution in the dug out in support of Jamie Coyle and Jack Parkinson and leaves the Club in a top ten position.
We wish him all the best and every success in his future career.’
