West Ham United joint-chairman David Sullivan has shared his delight at Hornchurch reaching the FA Trophy final.

The Isthmian Premier Division side came from behind three times against Notts County to beat the National League team on penalties in Saturday’s semi-final.




Sullivan, who grew up in Hornchurch, told West Ham’s website: “This is a fantastic story and a brilliant achievement for a proud and historic east London football club.

“Congratulations to everyone involved in what is an old-fashioned story of the underdog coming good that every football fan loves.”
