Weymouth manager Mark Molesley praised his backroom team for their “great gesture” of declining pay amid uncertainty over the completion of this season.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all three divisions of the National League are suspended “indefinitely” and the Terras’ management have opted against receiving wages.
Weymouth are waiting for clarity on how best to complete the campaign before addressing pay in greater detail.
Speaking to Echosport, Molesley applauded his team for their “selfless” action.
He said: “It was a difficult one for my staff.
“We stringently budget and the club runs a very tight ship. That’s why – a situation like this – we’ll get through as a club.”
