Weymouth manager Brian Stock has explained the reasoning behind not selecting Joan Luque for the weekend’s win over Wealdstone.
The Terras were emphatic 4-0 winners in the National League fixture but attacking talent Luque was not in the matchday squad.
Speaking to The Dorset Echo’s Echosport, Stock said: “It’s a frustrating one for Luque because he’s a fantastic footballer, I see it day in, day out in training.
“I just felt that his last two performances have been below-par and I felt Jordan Ngalo deserved the chance to come in, being left out of the squad through no fault of his own.”
