Weymouth chairman Steve Mills has resigned from his post with immediate effect owing to personal reasons.
The Terras announced the move last night via social media, releasing a statement which read: “We would like to place on record our sincerest gratitude to Mr Mills for his efforts in the role as chairman of the club and previously to that, as a director.
“The work that Steve did will never be forgotten, particularly with the successful link he helped to form between the club and our youth teams. We wish Steve the very best of luck for the future and look forward to seeing him on the terraces and being involved with the club.”
Vice-chairman Rob Bowman will step in as acting chairman until a new appointment is made.
