Six Maidstone players have been told they are free to leave the club, report Kent Online.
The Stones are circulating names as new boss Harry Wheeler rings the changes.
They haven’t been made public yet but Wheeler, speaking after Saturday’s win at Braintree, said: “I had a chat with six of them yesterday and sat down and said what we feel and you’re not in our plans, etc.
“It’s never nice, it’s not easy but it’s football, it’s not personal.
“They’re all great lads, we’ll continue to help them, they’re welcome to come and train until they move on and get clubs and that’s what we’ll do.”
