Just hours after leaving his role as joint-manager of Welling United, Harry Wheeler has been named as Head Coach of ambitious Ryman Premier League club Billericay Town.

Wings chairman Mark Goldberg said “”Harry Wheeler has today resigned as caretaker manager. Harrys desire for more control of first team affairs couldn’t be granted at this stage so he has decided to step down”.

And that allowed Billericay Town to appoint him as their new Head Coach.

They tweeted “I am pleased to welcome @HarryWheeler1 to Billericay Town who will be our new Head Coach starting tonight”.

The Blues sit in eighth position in the Ryman Premier League table and are just two points outside the play-off places.  They face seventh placed Enfield Town on Saturday.
