Vanarama National League South club Billericay Town have brought back former favourites Harry Wheeler and Jamie O`Hara as manager and player/assistant-manager respectively.

Wheeler led Billericay to promotion last season but was surprisingly sacked in August 2018.

But just a month later he was appointed boss of National League side Maidstone United.

However, despite beating League Two side Macclesfield Town in the Emirates FA Cup, Wheeler led his side to just three league wins and was sacked just after Christmas.

O`Hara departed New Lodge last month after 18 months as a player with the club.

The 32-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves and Fulham midfielder helped the Essex side gain promotion to National League South last season.
