Tricky Nicky Wheeler reckons Woking are the best run club he has ever been at – the Cards sitting five points clear at the top of the National League South table after Saturday’s 2-1 win against Billericay Town, report Surrey Live.

Wheeler played for Billericay last term and said: “The money they have sent they probably will go on to win the league. We are not saying we are definitely going to win it. The budget they have got they should win it.

“But Woking are a traditional and a great club. It’s one of the best run clubs I’ve been at for a long time, since I came out of academy football.

“We all love coming to training and it’s a great dressing room. It’s the most I’ve enjoyed my football in a long time.

“It’s a proper run club. Everything about it – great training, the set-up, the ground is great and the pitch is better than most league grounds.”
