Whitehawk FC have confirmed that goalkeeper Daniel Wilks has joined the club on a permanent basis having left Maldon & Tiptree.
Wilks initially joined the Hawks on loan from Maldon & Tiptree in January 2018, making his debut in the 1-0 win away at Oxford City amd keeping the Hawks’ first clean sheet in the league this season. He extended that loan for another month in February, and after that spell came to an end, he has made the move to The TerraPura Ground a permanent one for the remainder of the season.
Wilks joined Maldon & Tiptree at the start of the 2016 season and went on to make over 50 first-team appearances before playing on loan for Colchester United’s Under-23 side earlier this season.
