EBAC Northern League club Whitley Bay have completed the signings of two players from league rivals.

French midfielder Thibault Charmey has joined the Hillheads club from Guisborough Town and was joined by winger Peter Glen-Ravenhill, who joins from North Tyneside rivals North Shields.

Charmey was a member of PSG’s academy as a youngster and played in France’s 2006 World Cup winning side at Under 15 level.

Since moving to the UK he has played for Whitby Town, Norton and Stockton Ancients and Guisborough Town.

Glen-Ravenhill joins the Seahorses after a two and a half year stay with North Shields.

He joined the Robins in 2014 from Team Northumbria and went on to make thirty two appearances, scoring eight goals.

Recently he has spent time playing for Whitley Bay’s ‘A’ side in the Northern Alliance on a dual-registration basis.

Both players will hope to make their debuts in Saturday’s Northern League fixture at Sunderland RCA.
