Southport have signed promising young winger Connor Woods.
Woods, 21, who started out at St Helens Town before progressing through the youth set-up at Skelmersdale United, joins the Port ahead of the new campaign.
The right-winger moves into senior football for the first time and has caught the eye for Liam Watson’s side during pre-season with a number of creative, energetic performances.
Woods said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to sign for Southport and I honestly can’t wait to get going. This is a huge opportunity for me and I want to grab it with both hands.
“Everything has happened fairly quickly but it’s been great getting to know the lads over the past few weeks and Liam has already been really helpful.”
