Don’t let your hard work go to waste – that is the message from FC Halifax Town boss Pete Wild ahead of back-to-back home games for The Shaymen, The Halifax Courier say.

Town picked up four points from two testing away games at Bromley and Wrexham over the last few days, and host Maidenhead on Saturday before the rearranged clash with Hartlepool on Tuesday.

“They’ve got to back it up now, don’t let your hard work go to waste,” said the Town boss.

“You’ve fought all December, and you’ve fought all January to keep yourselves in and around where you want to be, don’t be half-a-yard off and come away thinking ‘if only’.”
