Hereford FC Chairman, Ken Kinnersley, has confirmed that Vice-Chairman, Chris Williams, is stepping down from the club’s Board of Directors.
As Chairman of Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST) when Hereford FC was formed, Williams was one of the three original HUST Directors. With HUST having now nominated three new Directors to join the Bulls Board, Williams is stepping down to allow the three nominees to take their places.
Bulls Chairman, Ken Kinnersley, said: “We are extremely grateful for the work that Chris has done here, especially relating to the safety certificates at Edgar Street as he played a significant role in ensuring we could open the ground in time for our first ever game against FC United of Manchester.
“He has been an important part of the club behind the scenes during our first three seasons and his presence on the board will be missed. However, we will all look forward to seeing Chris at games next season as he will continue to be a big supporter of the club.
“We would all like to wish Chris and his family all the very best for the future.”
