Kevin Wilson has added two more players to his Nuneaton Town squad by bringing in Peterborough United duo Aaron Williams and Jordan Nicholson on loan until 1st January 2017.
Williams moved to the Posh last season after netting sixteen times for Boro in the opening months of the season. And Nicholson signed for United after showing his ability at Histon.
Kevin Wilson was understandably delighted to see the pair make the move to the Coombe Abbey Arena. He said; “We all know what Aaron is capable of. He’s a goal scorer and has already proved himself at the club and in this league.
“Jordan is another player who can perform at this level and both of them are here to play games.
“Aaron grabbed two goals in the first five minutes in a friendly on Tuesday night and looked sharp. Jordan is a tenacious player with a turn of pace and a great left foot. He’s also capable of getting a goal or two whatever position he plays – he’s very versatile.
“Bringing this pair to the club adds even more competition for places and now everyone in the squad has at least one person breathing down their neck, hungry to get in the starting line-up.
“Peterborough have been fantastic and this is a great example of the positive relationship we have with them, which was mentioned when Aaron and Callum moved there last season.
“They’ve allowed the lads to come to the Boro for six months and play games in the league, FA Cup and FA Trophy.
“The standard loan terms apply so there is no option to recall them and they won’t go back to Peterborough until after the game with Tamworth on New Year’s Day.”
