Bradford Park Avenue have signed left-sided winger Tom Davie from National League newcomers North Ferriby United.

Davie, who can operate on the left-hand side of midfield or at left-back, has been on trial BradfordPAwith Avenue lately, playing in the recent friendlies against Consett and Guiseley AFC.

He particularly impressed when given the full second half in the North-East, putting in a perfect cross for Jack Ryan to net his second goal of the match.

After making just two substitute appearances for North Ferriby last term, Davie spent the majority of last season on loan at Frickley Athletic where he made a huge contribution to their highest-placed finish in ten years.

The 21-year-old joined Ferriby last summer following two years at Gainsborough Trinity, where he made thirty-nine appearances in the then-named Conference North, scoring 4 goals.

A product of the Hull City academy, Davie also scored 8 goals in a loan spell at Scarborough Athletic in the 2013/14 season – his first with Gainsborough.
