After a chat with manager Paul Holleran, winger Kaine Felix has decided to leave Leamington FC.

The 22-year old linked up with Brakes in November having been released by National League North rivals York City, and made the last of his 15 appearances on Monday evening against West Bromwich Albion. The Brakes boss admitted that commuting from his home over 80 miles away was having a detrimental effect:

“The travelling was just becoming too much for Kaine and was affecting him. He was having to make a near-180-mile round trip for home games, and while we are disappointed to be losing him, after having a chat we both felt it was in our best interests for him to try and get fixed up with a club closer to home.”
