King’s Lynn Town have announced the signing of talented young winger Declan Mcavoy.

The 24 year old lists Scottish side Hamilton Academicals, Alloa, Livingston and Farnborough Town on his footballing CV and actually turned down the chance of a professional contract in Malta but choose to link up with Great Yarmouth last season following his move down to Norfolk from Scotland.

King’s Lynn Manager Gary Setchell said “Declan is another good addition to the squad, he has a terrific left foot and is a dead ball specialist, he scored a number of free- kicks for Yarmouth last season and helped them gain promotion back to the Premier League”

Declan is the son of Frank Mcavoy, who is the assistant manager at SkyBet Championship side Norwich City.
