Welling United manager Jamie Coyle has signed Bradley Goldberg from Bromley for the coming season
Twenty-three-year-old Goldberg is a former Conference (National League) South player of the season, scoring 23 goals in the process as the Raven’s won the league.
He can operate as a striker, as a number 10 or out wide and will give the Wings a real threat and genuine quality in the final third and lots of options.
Coyle was naturally a happy man on completing the signing of his new forward: “I have been really impressed with Brad every time I have seen him when he has played against one of my teams. In signing Brad, we have signed a prolific scorer who is very good on the ball and he gives us lots of attacking options and he will be a good link between midfield and up front if he is in a deeper role. He can play off a big man up front, in the hole or out wide and is a proven goalscorer. Hes another who has played at a higher level and done well in this league.”
Coyle has also signed Wings fans` favourite Joe Healy from National League side Dover Athletic.
The 30-year-old midfielder can play in central midfield or on the left and has real quality on the ball.
Healy will be remembered for scoring the Non-League Goal of the Season for the Wings at Grimsby Town in 2013/14.
Since his departure from Park View Road, he has played for Maidstone United and Dover, latterly supplying an assist for Dover’s second goal in the Kent Senior Cup Final against the Wings last month.
Coyle was delighted to bring Healy back to Park View Road: “I am delighted to have signed Joe. He is a local lad and is well liked by our supporters, he has a lot of quality and will add strength to our team.
“Joe is one of the best midfielders at this level and he chose to come to us despite having had other offers. He has played at a higher level and won this league before. I am excited to have signed him”.
