Welling United have registered winger Christian Nanetti, almost a month after his arrival was announced by the Wings on social network.

Italian-born Nanetti moved to the UK to pursue his football career, starting out as a youth player with Queens Park Rangers.

From there he moved to Scottish side Raith Rovers in September 2010 and then on to Ashford Town (Middx) and then Harrow Borough.

During 2011/12 he played twenty-eight games for Lewes, scoring three times, and moved to AFC Wimbledon in December 2011.

He switched to Havant & Waterlooville in March 2012 where he scored 4 goals during the season run in.

He went on to play forty-three matches in 2013/14, scoring 12 goals – 7 of which were from the penalty spot.

He moved from the Hawks and signed for Dover Athletic, who had just been promoted to the National League, in July 2014.

After a loan stint at Whitehawk, Nanetti left Dover to join Ryman League Division One South side Walton Casuals in the summer of 2015 and then switched to league rivals East Grinstead United in March this year.
