Defender Tom Richards has earned a move to Welling United after just three weeks with Ryman League Division One South side Walton Casuals.

Richards joined Casuals in January, having previously spent five months with Austrian fourth division club FC Kitzbühel.

Having progressed through the youth ranks at Fulham, Richards featured for the Lilywhites in the last pre-season friendly between the two clubs.

The full-back enjoyed loan spells at AFC Wimbledon and Aldershot Town in 2014 and 2015, and later joined the Shots on a permanent deal without making a senior appearance for Fulham.

After thirty-six appearances in the National League, Richards headed to Austria where he scored twice in seven appearances before injury forced his return to England.

The 22-year-old made four appearances for the Stags.
