Curzon Ashton have announced the signing of Scott Bakkor from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Warrington Town.
Bakkor, a striker by trade, is notorious for his speed and keen eye for goal.
Previously of Warrington, Witton Albion, Colwyn Bay and Clitheroe, Bakkor is a player who is hungry for goals, especially in his time at Clitheroe where he became a huge fans` favourite.
Manager John Flanagan has extended a warm welcome to the club to Bakkor and believes that he will be a valuable addition to the squad for next season.
Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Jordan Wright has re-signed for the Nash ahead of the 2017/18 season
This upcoming season will be Wright’s sixth consecutive one in the Nash first-team, after breaking into the side as a youngster after initially joining when he was just six years old.
The winger made forty-five appearances last term. This included featuring in everyone one of the Nash’s games in the club’s historic Emirates FA cup run.
Wright has proved to be a real fans’ favourite in his time at the Tameside Stadium.
His hard work, skill and passion is often noted by the Nash fans, and there is no doubt this will carry on into the 2017/18 season.
