Carl Macauley admits a path to the promotion play-offs is less clear following Witton Albion’s draw with Farsley last night.
With six games left of the season, they sit eight points adrift of the Northern Premier League Premier Division’s top-five.
“It’s tough from here,” said the Witton manager. “I think it’s probable that we’ll need to win all of our remaining games, and we’re now reliant one others to take points off the teams we’re trying to catch.
“But it can happen, of course – if football has taught us nothing else this week, then it’s possible for seemingly unlikely things to occur!”
