Bolton Wanderers have taken Woking defender Nathan Ralph on trial, according to the journalist Pete O’Rourke on Twitter.

The 25-year-old left-back has been in impressive for Woking in the National League this season and is hoping for a move to the Football League in the summer.

Ralph will try and impress Championship side Bolton Wanderers on trial. The Trotters will be playing the second tier next season again after staying up in dramatic fashion on the last day of the campaign against Nottingham Forest.

Their manager, Phil Parkinson, is already plotting summer targets in preparation for next season and is keen to bolster his defensive options to avoid leaking so many goals. Nathan Ralph is a player he will take a look at.
