Boreham Wood have signed forward Jordan Chiedozie.

The 21-year-old had his contract with League Two side Cambridge United cancelled by mutual consent.

He made just eight appearances for United after joining from National League South side Concord Rangers in November 2014 but has not featured at all since Shaun Derry took over as manager at the Abbey Stadium.

Chiedozie, who is also capable of playing as an attacking wide midfielder, started his career with AFC Bournemouth and has also enjoyed loan spells with Dorchester Town and Poole Town.

He was released by the Cherries in early 2014, despite scoring 12 goals in thirteen matches for their development side during the 2013/14 season.

Signed by Concord at the end of that campaign, he netted 7 times during his eleven matches for the Essex side, prompting United to sign him up on an eignteen-month deal.

Since being with the U`s he has had loan spells with Dartford and Braintree Town
