Former Sheffield United midfielder Curtis Woodhouse has stepped down as manager of Hull United.

The decision was announced on Monday evening and the club released a short statement on their website to inform supporters of the news.




The statement in full read:

Curtis Woodhouse has decided to step down as first manager with immediate effect, Curtis has decided to pursue other options in his managerial career.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Curtis for his hard work and dedication, his managerial record speaks for itsself, helping the club to progress on many levels.

We wish him the best of look in his future endvours, and will enjoy watching his rise in the game.
