Workington have signed striker Ruben Jerome.
Danny Grainger’s second new signing ahead of next season, the 25-year-old was with Ramsbottom United last season.
His goal in their January win over Workington was one of 16 strikes in 28 league appearances during the term, and he will join fellow recent recruit Louis Potts competing for a spot in the forward line.
After his first training session with his new teammates, the brother of former Premier League striker Cameron Jerome told the club’s website:
“It happened last week; the club and Danny got in contact with me on separate occasions.
“They told me about their ambitions for next season, individually and for the team.
“Being an ambitious person, it’s something that’s right up my street; to come in and pick up where we left off last year.”
