Worksop Town have confirmed that first-team manager Ryan Hindley has left the NCEL Premier Division club after offering his resignation to the new board of directors.
Hindley had been in charge for eight months, since May 2017, but has now left after the board of directors accepted his resignation. Hindley and assistant Stuart Lowe will leave the club but Craig Spink will be retained in an alternative capacity and will be caretaker manager.
Club spokesman Jake Brown had this to say on the news: “The club has accepted Ryan’s resignation. Sadly it has not worked out as we all hoped.
“We wish him and Stuart all the very best in the future. We would like to thank Ryan for steering us through a tricky period during the recent takeover.”
