Worksop Town manager Craig Parry has said he would like to see options to conclude the season explored, rather than null and void.

Speaking to the club website, he said: “I think every manager would give you a different answer. With where we are sat in the league, I would have like to have waited until March and see if there were other options like splitting the league into two.

“I have always said from minute one that I would like a season completed for everyone’s sanity. Everyone will have their opinions on the matter and every chairman and manager will have a different say in this, and rightly so for their own football club.

“Even if we just played each other once and it is a round-robin with whoever you deal with at home you have to deal with them, and if you have to play them away then you deal with them away, and if you have played them already then you carry the result across, which reduces games again. I would like to have just seen in March as to where the country lies, but I am saying that from a selfish point of view really.”
