Wrexham have announced the signing of striker Stuart Beavon on a season-long loan deal from League One club Coventry City.
The 34-year-old forward put pen to paper on the deal this morning after completing a medical. Beavon’s career has been played predominantly in the Football League at the likes of Wycombe Wanderers, Preston North End, Burton Albion and most recently Coventry.
Beavon told wrexhamafc.co.uk: “I’m really pleased to be at Wrexham. I have spoken to Sam Ricketts a few times over the past weeks.
“It’s taken a bit of time but I’m glad it’s done and I can’t wait to get out on the pitch. Sam said to bring my experience to the team to help the lads mount a challenge this season.”
