Dean Keates insists Wrexham can’t worry about other teams and just need to take care of their own business in the battle to avoid relegation.

The Reds clinched a superb 2-0 victory at Bromley on Saturday and climbed up to 17th in the National League.

However, some of their fellow strugglers also secured positive results and Wrexham remain two points above the drop zone with 11 games to go.

The bottom half of the table is heavily congested – just five points separate Chesterfield, who occupy the final relegation zone, and 14th placed Torquay – and Keates is just focused on Wrexham looking after themselves ahead of Saturday’s trip to high-flying Yeovil.

“How many teams have come back into it? I’d imagine there are a couple of teams just above us who have been reined back in,” said Keates.

“We will keep going and all we can do is worry about ourselves.”
