Sam Ricketts says Manny Smith is coming along well as he continues his recovery from a knee injury, report the Daily Post.

The Wrexham manager recently revealed Smith was set for up to 10 weeks on the sidelines after the centre-half was forced off in the 1-0 defeat at Solihull Moors on August Bank Holiday Monday, the defender hyper-extended his knee after an awkward landing at Damson Park.

Ricketts, who moved quickly to sign a replacement after adding Jake Lawlor to the squad, has given an update on Smith’s recovery.

“He should be back about mid-November time, so six weeks now roughly,” said Ricketts, when asked about Smith’s rehab.
