Wrexham Supporters Trust’s board have shared the club’s stance over how to proceed with the current season.

Last week’s communication from the National League presented member clubs with three options over continuing the season: applying for a government loan, the National League taking on the loan (to be shared as grants between clubs, but with impact on future central distributions), or suspending the current season.

Wrexham Supporters Trust have said the following in response:

“The WST wishes to inform members that after discussion at a board meeting last week, option two (the National League taking on the loan) was the favoured choice. The board also voted in favour of continuing the current National League season.

“Representatives of our prospective new owners are also in full agreement with these decisions.”
